Product-By-Process Claim
Definition:
A patent claim in which a product is claimed by defining the process by which it is made.
Final Data Capture
Definition:
Once the fee, any correspondence, and/or drawings are matched with the application and all requirements have been met for issuance as a patent, the application is then forwarded to the Final Data Capture (FDC) stage of the process.
Activity Based Management
Definition:
A management methodology that combines ABC with business process analysis techniques to run, improve and measure performance for a business or organization.
